About Our Hand Made Cushions

All our cushion covers are hand-made to a high standard and come complete with a cushion pad.

All the fabric used to make our cushion covers is washable at 30C. The embroidery thread is also fully washable, again at 30C and both the cushion fabric and the embroidered design can be ironed on the medium setting.

The cushion pads used by Embroidery Scene are bought in from suppliers. They are filled with duck feathers and covered with 100% cotton. They can be hand washed or washed in a laundrette size machine at 40C. They can also be professionally dry cleaned. The feathers used for the cushion pads comply with European Standards for cleanliness.
